The City of Jacksonville and Fraternal Order of Police (FOP) have reached a three-year tentative collective bargaining agreement, the city announced on Tuesday. The agreement covers both Police and Corrections Units and includes a 13% raise for police and a 15% increase this year.
With increasingly high temperatures and little significant rainfall these past several weeks, JEA said on Tuesday it continues to experience exceptionally high demand for its reclaimed water supply, so it strongly urges all drinking and reclaimed water customers to follow mandatory watering restrictions set forth by the St. Johns River Water Management District (SJRWMD).
