The moon will appear full for about three days, hitting an official peak on Thursday morning. The best time to view the moon, though, is at night on Wednesday and Thursday, May 23, since it will be below the horizon during its peak in some regions, according to the Farmer’s Almanac.

Weather conditions in the Jacksonville area Thursday are mostly clear skies.

NASA said there’s also an opportunity to see the full moon near the bright star Antares on Thursday night.
