JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Four area boys basketball teams are joining Hilliard in the state semifinals.
Jackson, Providence, Impact Christian and Ponte Vedra all punched their tickets to the final four with regional championship wins on Friday night. They join Hilliard, which locked up its final four spot in Class 1A last week.

The Tigers (25-3) won their 20th straight game with a 62-43 romp over Raines to win Region 1-4A. Jackson and coach James Collins will face the Villages Charter on Thursday in Lakeland.
Providence built a big second half lead and spent most of the final quarter shooting free throws to top Episcopal 50-43 in Region 1-3A to reach back-to-back state semis. The Stallions will face Windermere Prep, the team that beat them in the final four last season, on Wednesday in Lakeland.
In Region 1-6A, Ponte Vedra went on the road and coasted past Wiregreass Ranch 69-52. The Sharks will face Pembroke Pines Charter on March 7.
In Region 1-2A, Impact Christian hit a walk-off basket to turn back University Christian 64-62 to reach another state semifinal under coach Benjamin Jones. The Lions get top-seeded Sagemont on Tuesday.
