JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The News4JAX boys lacrosse Super 6 rankings will be published Tuesday’s during the regular season. Records are through March 4 games.

Rank, school, record, classification

1. (1) Bolles (9-0, Class 1A)

Notable wins: Bishop Moore, Fletcher, Menendez, Montverde, Nease, South Walton, Timber Creek.

Glance: The Bulldogs are rolling. Since our last Super 6, Bolles crushed Nease (17-4), Winter Park (19-4) and Timber Creek (21-3). Since Tom West was hired just under three years ago, Bolles is 51-6. He won a state championship at Ponte Vedra and will be positioned to do the same with the Bulldogs at this rate.

2. (2) Ponte Vedra (6-3, Class 2A)

Notable wins: Allatoona (Ga.), Bartram Trail, Creekside, Nease, Viera.

Glance: The Sharks were 1-1 since our last Super 6, a 9-8 loss in triple OT to a solid Lambert (Ga.) program, then bounced back for an 11-2 win over Viera. A strong Episcopal squad is up next Tuesday night.

3. (4) Fletcher (6-1, Class 2A)

Notable wins: Bartram Trail, Episcopal, Menendez, St. Augustine, Tocoi Creek.

Glance: The Senators are red hot. They’ve won six straight, including Ws over Menendez (12-4) and St. Augustine (8-4) since our last Super 6. Nathan Phillips leads Fletcher in goal scoring (15), with Luke Fierro (18 assists, 13 goals) and Matthew Weidle (11 goals, 7 assists) right behind.

4. (3) Nease (3-3, Class 2A)

Notable win: Oak Hall, Richmond Hill.

Glance: The Panthers were 1-1 since our last Super 6, beating Richmond Hill (Ga.) 16-5 and losing to Bolles (17-4). Those three losses (Bolles, Ponte Vedra and Pope, Ga.) aren’t bad at all.

5. (NR) Episcopal (6-2, Class 1A)

Notable win: Bartram Trail, Richmond Hill, Savannah Country Day, Trinity Catholic.,

Glance: The Eagles have been strong this season. Their losses have been tight (8-7 to Fletcher, 9-6 to Gulf Breeze). There’s a major showdown on Tuesday night scheduled against No. 2 Ponte Vedra. Robert Adams (9 goals) and Tre Carter (8 goals, 6 assists) lead Episcopal in scoring.

6. (5) St. Augustine (5-3, Class 2A)

Notable wins: Matanzas, Providence.

Glance: The Yellow Jackets went 1-2 since our last Super 6 and fall down a spot after losses to Fletcher (8-4) and Gulf Breeze. They beat Tocoi Creek in that span. A busy week awaits, Menendez on Tuesday, Ocala Forest on Thursday and Cocoa Beach on Friday.
