1. (2) Trinity Christian (10-1, Class 3A)

Notable wins: Clay, Lowndes (Ga.), Mill Creek, Providence.

Glance: The Conquerors make the jump to the top spot after running their winning streak to 10 games after a 2-1 win over Clay on Thursday night. They also beat rival Providence (5-1) since our last Super 6. They’ve got tough games next week against a 14-3 Lowndes (Ga.) on Tuesday and 7-3 Buchholz on Thursday. Trinity is up to No. 23 in the MaxPreps national rankings, one spot in front of Lowndes.

2. (1) St. Johns Country Day (9-2, Class 2A)

Notable wins: Buchholz, Clay, Flagler Palm Coast, Florida High, North Florida Christian, Thomasville (Ga.), West Nassau.

Glance: The Spartans drop from the top spot for the first time this season. They split since our last Super 6, losing to Oakleaf (8-5) and bouncing back for a 6-3 win over Buchholz. Hunter Rodgers belted two homers in that game. James Gilson (.455, 3 HR, 10 RBI), Collin Briggs (.375) and Kolt Myers (.344, 13 RBI) lead the St. Johns regulars with 20 at-bats or more at the plate.

3. (3) Bolles (10-3, Class 3A)

Notable wins: Bartram Trail, Christ School (NC), Montverde, Oxford (Ala.), Yulee.

Glance: Bolles has won four straight, including a 13-1 win over Christ School and a 5-2 win over Bartram Trail since our last Super 6. West Broward (Monday) and Episcopal (Thursday) are up next for the Bulldogs. Jackson Geist (.432) and Chayce Kieck (.389) are leading Bolles.

4. (4) Tocoi Creek (9-2, Class 6A)

Notable wins: Beachside, Christ’s Church, Episcopal, Father Lopez, Providence.

Glance: The Toros stretched their winning streak to eight games since our last Super 6 with wins over Episcopal (8-1) and Nease (5-0). St. Augustine is up next on Friday. Andy Lemaster (.406) boosted his average nearly 50 percentage points since last week. Carson Zepp (.345) is right behind for the Toros.

5. (6) Bishop Kenny (8-2, Class 4A)

Notable wins: Fernandina Beach, St. Joseph, Sandalwood, Tocoi Creek.

Glance: It was a good call to leave the Crusaders in the Super 6. They beat Bartram Trail (3-2), Mandarin (12-2) and Sandalwood (5-4) since our last Super 6. They’re back in action with three straight games next week against Flagler Palm Coast, Mandarin and Clay from Monday to Wednesday. Franco Chaluja (.438, 9 RBI), Owen Delaney (.382, 8 RBI) and Derek Heideman (.379, 8 RBI) are powering Kenny.

6. (NR) Oakleaf (6-5, Class 6A)

Notable wins: Anderson County (Tenn.), Bishop Kenny, Clay, Fleming Island, North Florida Christian, St. Johns CD.

Glance: Yes, five losses is a lot, but I can’t diminish what the Knights have done from a Ws standpoint. Since our last Super 6, Oakleaf beat previous No. 1 St. Johns and previous No. 6 Fleming Island. They have just two local losses (Union County, Yulee). Among regulars, Jorden Clarke (.321) is leading Oakleaf. Oakleaf is in ahead of Bishop Snyder this week.
